גלשן שורט בעל אלמנטים עיצוביים של שנות ה80 המוקדמות כמו שבירת טייל, נוז שמן, רוקר נמוך ודק ועם ריילים נמוכים. חוץ מהפיצ'רים האלו, התוסף המודרני שהוסף לעיצוב הקלאסי הוא האורך והשייפ התחתון.
הגלשן עוצב לגלישה קצרה ב3' ממה שהיה מקובל בתקופה ההיא, דבר המאפשר לגלשן להשתלב חזק בנקודה הקריטית בגל ולגלוש בסגנון מקצועי ומודרני.
ההמשך היה התאמה של תחתית vee מסורתית עם שמירה על מעט vee בנוז כדי למנוע אחיזה מוגזמת, בנוסף הוסיפו סינגל קונקייב שטוח מתחת לחזה שמשתלב לדאבל קונקייב עמוק בין החרבות ומסתיים בפלאט. שינויים אלו החליפו גלשן איטי יותר עם רייל טו רייל רול בגלשן מהיר יותר ומשוחרר. הגלשן ושינויים אלו מאפשרים לך להיכנס מהר לדרופ ולשמור על מהירות בליין גבוה, וכן לבצע תמרונים רדיקלים.
גלשן זה הוא שילוב של ישן עם חדש לביצועים מושלמים.
Low Rider Traction Pad
Subtle and simple, the Lowrider was created to enable grip and control on the deck of any surfboard, for surfers who want to maintain sensitivity between their back foot and the deck of their surfboard
A more natural feeling when compared to larger tread patterns, the Lowrider is a favorite when seeking enhanced control without sacrificing flow and finesse
With a low incline tail kick trimmed at the heel and toe edge of either side of the pad, the Lowrider has just enough elevated surface area behind your back foot to enable turns as tight as you can drive them
Cut from thin rectangle grooves, this pad’s minimalistic approach is offset by an extra firm arch bar, creating one of our favorite Algae Traction pads yet

The MAGIC Model stands the test of time due to its versatility and unique design features. With an emphasis on performance, with a single concave running from the nose through to the midpoint creates lift and stability, which is perfect for controlled nose riding. The Magic Model is now available in Fusion Parabolic Construction for added performance
Fusion Parabolic Construction is a good choice for surfers who want a light board with a lively responsive feel, but don't want to sacrifice durability or consistency in their board's flex pattern. Treat yourself to next-level flex and performance. Surftech's Fusion Parabolic Construction is exclusively used on Walden surfboards. A fused cell EPS core provides response and flotation, while an e-glass and epoxy resin layup increase durability with the highest strength-to-weight ratio available. For added toughness, we've added a full biax deck patch with 45° angles. The deck patch reduces denting of the deck and distributes power evenly through the board. The Magic Model in Fusion Parabolic Construction is the perfect ride anything, do everything performance board. Traditionalists will enjoy stability through noserides while modern surfers will love the spring and projection out of bottom turns. All surfers will appreciate a construction that increases board longevity

It’s called the Magic Model for a reason. The Magic rocker, Magic rails, and the Magic hull are very unique to Walden Surfboards, the front 1/2 of the hull is concave, this single concave transitions into a double concave in the rear and the back 1/3 transitions into a moderate “V”. The concave nose adds lift and stability, perfect for noseriding. The double-concaved hull and hard rails make the board fast, stable, responsive, and maneuverable in all conditions. The Magic rails are hard, they tend to be harder than most other longboards, the unique bottom curves & bevels keep the rails from catching, unlike most other hard rail boards. Riders of the Magic Model have been known to surf better, catch extra waves and enjoy their sessions more

Walden Surfboards was the first company to design an entire line of surfboards just for women called Walden Wahine, (Wahine is Hawaiian for girl), we didn’t just add a token pink surfboard to our existing men’s line but rather we created an entire range of surfboards for the full range of women surfers
